Strong Finish with Consistent Pacing Hoon Choi maintained a steady pace throughout the 2025 Boulderthon 10K. Starting with a consistent 8:41 min/mile pace for the first two miles, Hoon slightly increased speed to 8:39 min/mile by mile 3, demonstrating a controlled pace. Positions improved from 408th to 365th place overall, indicating strategic pacing. Although the pace dropped slightly to 9:01 and 9:05 min/mile in miles 4 and 5, Hoon held steady in placement, finishing the race with an overall time of 54:57. Hoons consistency is evident with a final pace of 8:51 min/mile and maintaining strong form by staying within the top 20% of their division, M35-39. For future races, focusing on maintaining the pace achieved at mile 3 could positively impact overall time and position. Excellent pacing was demonstrated, with room to push during later miles while maintaining energy efficiency.
