Consistent Pace Leads to Strong Finish Kelly Ritchie maintained an admirable pace throughout the 2025 Boulderthon 10K, finishing with a total time of 52:28 and an average pace of 8:27 min/mile. Starting with a first-mile pace of 9:17 min/mile, Kelly quickly improved, clocking an impressive 8:07 min/mile by the second mile. Continually accelerating, her positive momentum saw her finish 11th in her age division (F35-39) out of 31 participants. Consistent improvement was evident across splits, peaking in the fourth and fifth miles with sub-8:30 paces, culminating in significant gains in overall placement. Kelly moved up from the 461st position to finish 250th overall, out of 2428 competitors. For future races, maintaining this mid-race momentum in the early miles could enhance overall time even further. Great work on a consistent and well-executed race!
