Consistent Effort with Late Pace Adjustment Kenny Lucas maintained a steady start at the 2025 Boulderthon 10K, completing the first mile in 9:30 minutes and ranking 23rd in his division. His pacing slightly increased in the following miles, with mile two completed in 9:59 minutes. Notably, the third mile saw a slight decrease in pace with a split time of 10:33 minutes, showing a need for more endurance in the mid-section of the race. In the later miles, Kenny exhibited consistency with split times of 11:05 and 11:01 minutes for miles five and six, adjusting his pace efficiently as the race progressed. Despite fluctuations earlier, he maintained a respectable average pace of 10:36 min/mile, completing the 6.2-mile course in 1:05:49. Working on maintaining his pace across all splits could enhance future performances.
