Steady Progress with a Strong Finish Robert Cronin's performance at the 2025 Boulderthon 10K displayed consistency in pacing with room for increased sustainability in the latter stages of the race. He started strong with an initial mile split of 8:09, which placed him 8th in his division. His pace remained steady across the first two miles, with a slight improvement to 8:07 in the second mile. By the third mile, he began to slow slightly with his pace dropping to 8:49, yet he maintained his position well within the top half of his division. The final three miles saw a gradual decline in pace, reaching 9:35 by the 6th mile. Despite this, Robert was able to maintain a spot in the top 15 for his division. Overall, he finished the race in 55:36, averaging an 8:58 min/mile pace. Focusing on maintaining his early race pacing through later stages could yield even better results in future races.
