Consistent Early Performance, Minor Late Slowdown Julio Faz ran the 2025 Boulderthon 10K, finishing with a time of 59:51 and an overall pace of 9:39 min/mile. Starting strong, Julio maintained a consistent pace of 9:14 min/mile over the first two miles. Notably, his splits for the first two miles placed him 624th overall and 349th among males, demonstrating early stamina and control. The mid-section of the race saw some variance. Mile 3 was completed in 9:46, but improved slightly in mile 4 with a split pace of 9:32 before finishing the last miles with a 10:07 pace. This slight slowdown could be an area to focus on for future races, keeping the latter stages as strong as the start. Despite this, Julio finished 28th in his division (M40-44) and outperformed many, with a respectable placement of 619 out of 2428 participants. Continued training may help maintain an even pace throughout.
