Consistent Start with Room to Stabilize Splits John Chuter completed the 2025 Boulderthon 10K with a total time of 40:39 at an average pace of 6:33 min/mile. He placed third in the M30-34 division. He maintained a consistent and strong start with his first two miles clocked at 6:13 and 6:14 min/mile, respectively, securing 1st in his division early on. However, after hitting the 3-mile mark, his split pace slowed slightly, averaging between 6:33 and 6:53 min/mile for the final segments, resulting in a finish within the top 3 in his division. While John's pacing was commendable in the initial miles, attention to maintaining speed through the latter half could further enhance overall performance. Comparing this result to his previous half marathon with an average pace of 7:51 min/mile, it's clear John has improved his pace in shorter distances. Continuing to focus on sustaining early paces will be key to future success.
