Steady Start, Strong Finish Britton kicked off the 2025 Boulderthon 10K at a consistent pace, clocking 6:30 for the first mile and maintaining competitive division standings. She led her division early on, even through a slight pace shift to 6:35 by the third mile, where she temporarily fell to 2nd in her age category. Despite a further deceleration to a 7:53 pace in the sixth mile, Britton regained her division lead by the end of the race. Impressively, Britton concluded in 44:01, improving by over a minute from the previous year's Boulderthon, advancing from 68th to 54th overall out of 2428 participants. Her overall pace of 7:06 min/mile underscored a substantial enhancement from her 2024 performance. As a coach, a focus on maintaining pace throughout the later miles could be beneficial for further improvement.
