Consistent Start with Opportunity to Improve Kayla Osby demonstrated a strong start with a sub-9-minute mile, clocking 9:04 for her first mile, placing 401st overall. Her second split was her fastest at 8:59, improving her pace while maintaining her strong placement across the first and second miles. However, the pace slightly decreased in the following miles, resulting in a 9:50 overall pace for the 10K race, finishing with a total time of 1:00:58. Kayla showed consistent effort, particularly in the first and second miles. She experienced a slight decline in pace in the latter stages, with her fourth and sixth miles clocking in at 10:32. By focusing on maintaining her pace and perhaps working on her endurance in the final stages, there's potential for improvement. Finishing 66th in her division and running as part of "Weve Got the Runs," Kayla put forth a commendable performance in the Boulderthon.
