Consistent Start with Opportunities for Pace Adjustment Mareka Austin maintained a strong and consistent start through the initial stages of the 2025 Boulderthon 10K, clocking identical splits for the first two miles at 11:09 min/mile. This steady pacing placed her at 53rd in her division during the first mile. Notably, her fastest split times were set during these early segments, which is promising. As the race progressed, Mareka could benefit from focusing on maintaining her pace consistency. Mile splits increased gradually, with the fourth mile peaking at a split pace of 12:35 min/mile and ultimately concluding with an overall pace of 12:04 min/mile. Despite this, Mareka completed the race with a commendable division place of 60th in the F40-44 category.
