Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Clara Chalk demonstrated consistency in her 5K run at the 2025 Boulderthon. Starting with an initial pace at 9:55 min/mile for her first mile, she improved to 8:27 min/mile on the second mile, displaying a notable increase in speed. While her third mile dipped to a 9:50 min/mile pace, she managed an overall average pace of 9:22 min/mile. Her finish time was 29:03, placing her 24th in the F30-34 division out of a substantial number of participants. Although she experienced some fluctuations in the pacing strategy, her consistent performance could be enhanced by maintaining the increased pace of the second mile throughout the race.
