Strong Pace and Impressive Finish Evan's performance in the 2025 Boulderthon Half Marathon showcased a consistent and strong pace, culminating in an impressive overall finish. Starting with an initial mile split of 8:10, he quickly established a faster rhythm, maintaining an average pace around the 7:40's for most miles. His fastest split was a remarkable 4:59 for the 10th mile, demonstrating strategic energy conservation and burst capability. Ending with an overall pace of 7:39 min/mile, Evan managed to progress steadily through the ranks, moving up from 675th to 386th overall and 285th among men. By the end of the race, Evan claimed 61st place in his competitive M25-29 division. While his positions fluctuated slightly during the race, he consistently improved in his division and overall standings. For future races, focusing on maintaining the rapid pace observed in mile 10 could yield even greater results. Excellent work showed throughout the race in pacing and finishing strong.
