Consistent Early Splits with a Late Challenge Turner began the 2025 Boulderthon Half Marathon with a strong pace, maintaining an impressive sub-8-minute mile for the first five miles. Starting with a 7:54-minute mile, Turner slightly increased speed, securing a 7:50-minute mile by the second mile. In a field of over 6,500 participants, Turner achieved a significant leap in ranking during the fifth mile, moving to 362 overall and climbing to 22nd in the M20-24 division. As the race progressed, pace adjustments were noted from Mile 6 onward, resulting in a gradual time increase. By Mile 8, Turner's split time reached 9:20, which corresponded to his overall standing sliding to 720, eventually finishing 813rd. The consistent pacing at the beginning shows Turner's strong endurance.
