Consistent Speed Leads to Strong Finish Mike Coniglio demonstrated a solid performance at the 2025 Boulderthon Half Marathon, finishing with an elapsed time of 1:50:33 and maintaining an overall average pace of 8:26 min/mile. Starting at a steady 9:26 min/mile for the first two miles, Mike impressively picked up the pace, with the fastest split being 6:23 min/mile at mile 9. Notably, Mike gained momentum throughout the race, consistently moving up in his division from 310th place at mile 1, to finishing 155th in the M30-34 division. Despite a slight drop in speed during mile 10, where the pace was 10:10 min/mile, Mike showed remarkable resilience, quickly recovering and finishing mile 12 strong with an 8:02 min/mile pace. By managing a progressive increase in speed, Mike effectively moved up in the overall standings, concluding the race in 881st place out of 6546 participants. Fine-tuning pace consistency might lead to even greater results next time. Excellent effort!
