Consistency with Strong Finishes Jesus Martinez ran the 2025 Boulderthon Half Marathon with a final time of 2:45:49, averaging an overall pace of 12:39 min/mile. A noteworthy aspect of his performance was his ability to maintain a consistent pace during the initial stages, with each of his first five miles maintaining paces between 11:03 and 12:01 min/mile. He performed especially well in the fifth mile with a split time of 11:22, showing some excellent pacing here. In the latter stages, Martinez experienced varied timings, but finished strong with a remarkable acceleration in mile 9, clocking his fastest split at 8:20 min/mile. As a member of Latinos Run Denver, it's a sign that his training is paying off. For future races, finding strategies to maintain this faster pace over longer distances could be beneficial.
