Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Alex maintained a consistent pace throughout the first half of the Boulderthon Half Marathon, with early miles ranging from 7:28 to 7:58 min/mile. Though there was a slight drop in position from 455th to 464th overall during the fourth mile, a notable recovery occurred at mile five, advancing to 303rd overall with a time of 7:40 for that mile. A standout performance came at mile nine, where Alex clocked an impressive 6:22, highlighting a surge that improved overall positioning despite subsequent challenges. The final mile was completed in 8:26, culminating in a total time of 1:46:06 and a pace of 8:05 min/mile. Although there was a decrease in pace after mile nine, maintaining a strong completion with determination and maintaining position shows resilience. For future races, consider strategies to sustain the striking energy displayed in mile 9 for longer periods.
