Consistent Progress with Strategic Splits Sam Mejchar from Grafton, WI, delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Boulderthon Half Marathon, finishing with a time of 2:18:42 and an average pace of 10:35 min/mile. From the start, Sam maintained a consistent pace through the first three miles, despite some fluctuations. The first mile was clocked at 10:59, improving slightly to 10:58 by mile two. There was a slight delay in mile three at 27:57, but Sam quickly adjusted the strategy to regain momentum. Sam's strategy in the second half was characterized by more controlled and steady pacing, consistently under 11-minute miles from mile six onwards. The final miles showed resilience and a strong finish, with the best split time of 10:12 recorded at mile twelve. There was significant progress in overall placement, improving to 3,193rd out of 6,546 participants.
