Strong Finish with Negative Splits Misaki Kato showcased an impressive performance in the 2025 Boulderthon Half Marathon. Analyzing the splits reveals a well-executed race strategy, starting with consistent pacing around the 8:19 min/mile mark for the initial three miles. There was a noticeable dip in pacing at mile 4 with an increased time of 11:46. However, the recovery was remarkable. By mile 5, she surged back with a quick split pace of 4:51 min/mile, rapidly improving her overall position. Misaki maintained commendable pacing throughout, particularly from mile 10 onwards, showcasing negative splits that culminated in a strong finish.
