Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Jesse maintained a consistent overall pace of 8:14 min/mile throughout the 2025 Boulderthon Half Marathon. Analyzing the splits, a steady and controlled execution is evident. Jesse started with a slightly slower pace of 8:12 min/mile in the first mile, quickened to his fastest split with a 7:46 min/mile at mile five, and finished strong with a 7:41 min/mile at mile twelve. These stats show effective pacing with a tendency to speed up as distance increased. The fastest split significantly improved overall placement, rising to 31st in the M20-24 division at mile five. Although there was some fluctuation in rank, ranging from 55th initially to 66th at the finish, consistent pacing allowed for a competitive finish among peers.
