Consistent Performance with Strong Start Chris maintained a steady pace throughout the 2025 Boulderthon Half Marathon. He began the race with a strong first mile split of 9:00 minutes, placing 1293rd overall and 30th in the M50-54 division. Chris effectively quickened his pace during the second mile with an 8:31-minute split. Notably, between miles 4 and 5, Chris advanced significantly, climbing from 22nd to 18th in his division with split times of 8:58 and 8:51 minutes per mile. Although Chris's pace increased slightly in later miles, his performance remained consistent, finishing the race in 2:00:58 with an average cadence of 9:14 minutes per mile. At the end, he placed 36th in the M50-54 division out of 6546 total participants. For future races, maintaining his most efficient pacing from the start and focusing on sustaining that during the latter miles could further improve results.
