Consistent Determination Leads to a Strong Finish Shawn Milhauser completed the 2025 Boulderthon Half Marathon with an impressive overall time of 1:26:07, maintaining a consistent average pace of 6:34 per mile. Throughout the race, Shawn demonstrated determination, starting at a strong pace with initial splits closely matched: 6:34, 6:34, and 6:35 for the first three miles. Although the pace slightly slowed around the fourth mile with a 7:15 split, Shawn quickly regained momentum, gradually accelerating with splits that went as low as 6:20 and 6:05 in later miles. Amongst 6546 participants, Shawn placed 90th overall and 77th in his gender, finishing 13th in his age division (M30-34). A remarkable performance was seen at the 12th mile with his fastest mile split of 6:05, demonstrating a strong finish. Focusing on maintaining this positive trend in the final stretch can further enhance his performance in future races. Excellent focus and resilience were evident throughout the run.
