Consistent Pace with Strategic Improvements Caroline Carrillo demonstrated consistent pacing throughout the Boulderthon Half Marathon. Starting strong with a consistent sub-8-minute pace for the first two miles, she maintained a solid rhythm, holding an overall pace of 8:14 min/mile. Notably, at the 5th mile, Caroline improved her overall position significantly, moving from 616th to 364th. This strategic improvement showed her ability to effectively manage pacing over the first half of the race. While she maintained relatively steady splits, mile 8 saw a drop in pace to 8:55 min/mile, impacting her overall positioning.
