Strong Finish and Impressive Division Placement Gregory Simon participated in the 2025 Boulderthon, completing the half marathon in 1:35:08 with an average pace of 7:15 min/mile. His performance earned him 2nd place in the M50-54 division. Gregory strategically improved over the course, starting with a 7:37 min/mile in the first mile and progressing to a notable 6:47 min/mile by mile 12. His pacing consistency between miles 6 to 11 was admirable, maintaining a steady pace around 7:20 min/mile. Compared to his 2024 performance, Gregory reduced his overall time by over two minutes and improved his division placement significantly from 10th in M45-49 to 2nd in M50-54. This advancement in pacing is evident, particularly the quicker splits in the latter half of the race, demonstrating excellent endurance and finishing strength. Continuing to focus on maintaining early pacing could further improve his overall standing in future races.
