Consistent Pace, Strong Finish Andy Setser maintained an impressive average pace of 5:52 minutes per mile over the course of the 2025 Boulderthon marathon, finishing with a total time of 2:34:06. Starting strong, Andy completed the first mile in 5:47, holding within the top 10 overall placements throughout the race. Andy's pacing remained mostly uniform, with a small variance of up to 16 seconds between the fastest mile at 5:28 and the slowest mile at 6:20. Andy showed particular strength in the middle section of the race, where he secured first place in his division (M25-29) by mile 2. Overall, Andy finished 8th out of 2678 participants, managing to stay in the top 10 for most of the race. The final miles showed a little slowing, but his ability to maintain such a consistent pace highlights his strong endurance capacities. For future races, focusing on pacing in the final stretch could yield additional benefits. Great job, Andy!
