Noteworthy improvements were seen between miles 5 and 6, with a split pace of 6:46, which allowed him to move up from 60th to 41st overall at mile 5. In the latter stages, Stephen faced challenges, notably as the pace reduced to above 9:10 min/mile during miles 22 and 23. This impacted his final finishing time of 3:14:54 with an average pace of 7:26 min/mile. Nonetheless, staying within the top 75 of the 2678 participants is commendable.
