Consistent Performance with Strong Early Splits Owen Murdock demonstrated impressive early pacing at the 2025 Boulderthon Marathon, maintaining a consistent pace of around 6:13 to 6:17 minutes per mile for the majority of the race. His strategic pacing allowed him to lead his division (M20-24) from miles 4 through 19, reaching mile 10 in a time of 1:02:02 and an impressive split of 5:56. He sustained a steady position within the top 15 overall for much of the race, showcasing strong middle splits. As the marathon progressed, splits became marginally longer after mile 18, peaking at a 9:44-minute mile by mile 24.
