Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Alex maintained a consistent pace throughout the marathon, with the average pace recorded at 9:03 minutes per mile. Notably, the first three miles started with consistent split times of 9:04 minutes each, illustrating a well-paced beginning. Mile 25 and 26 showed a notable pick-up with a split pace of 8:25 minutes per mile, indicating a strong finish. Over the course of 26.2 miles, Alex's placement improved significantly from 812th overall early on to 429th by the finish line. There was stable improvement in placement, particularly in the latter half, where Alex moved up from 824th after the 6th mile to finishing 429th overall.
