Consistent Early Performance, Excels in Middle Miles Liz Lipscomb from Steamboat Springs showed steady performance at the 2025 Boulderthon Marathon. Impressively, Mile 5 was her fastest split at 6:14 min/mile, showing an ability to surge past many competitors, ranking 889th overall and 56th in her division. Her overall pacing steadied with a final marathon pace of 13:09 min/mile. While the latter segments of the race showed a deceleration, notably after Mile 9 with a pace downturn at Mile 24, this provides a clear area for strategy adjustments. Liz secured her final position with a time of 5:44:56, completing the marathon amidst a competitive field. She finished 126th in her division.
