Consistent Early Pace with Room for Improved Endurance Caleb started the 2025 Boulderthon marathon strong, maintaining a remarkably consistent pace during the initial miles, with splits like 6:56, 6:45, and 6:48 in the first five miles. This consistent effort placed him high within his division M15-19, reaching a peak of 2nd place. The efficient pacing resulted in a commendable 6:49 min/mile average over the first half, illustrating effective energy deployment and control. However, as the marathon progressed, Caleb experienced a tapering off in pacewith a significant slowdown from mile 16 onward, peaking at 12:29 in mile 24. The marathon concluded with Caleb finishing 9th in his M15-19 division and 180th overall. Focusing on sustaining endurance in the later stages will enhance future performances.
