Consistent Effort with Late Race Adjustments David Herbener maintained a solid pace during the first half of the 2025 Boulderthon. Notably, his pace was steady, holding around 9:03 min/mile for the first two miles, positioning him at 803rd overall, and in the 70th spot within his division. The third mile started with a slightly slower split at 9:13 min/mile, but he managed to reclaim some ground in the next few miles by recording consistent splits around the upper 9-minute range. In the latter portion of the race, his pace slowed slightly, dropping to a 10:02 min/mile overall pace by the end. Nevertheless, David managed to finish 819th out of 2,678 participants, and 74th in his division. Targets for future races could include maintaining the early pace through the latter stages and perhaps pushing for faster recovery at strategic points in the race.
