Consistent Start With Late Decline Jonathan maintained a strong and steady pace in the first half, holding an elapsed pace of around 7:20 min/mile. By mile 10, a notable speed boost was seen with a 7:05 split time, reflecting a peak in performance, securing him a solid position within the top 105 overall, and consistently placing 9th in his division during the initial segments. In the latter half, there was a gradual decline in pace, beginning after mile 21. Splits from mile 24 onwards noticeably slowed, with the 24th mile seeing a sharp drop to a 12:31 min/mile pace. The final mile registered a 10:38 split, impacting the final overall placement to 129th. Improving endurance in the latter part could positively impact overall performance. Despite the decrease in pace, Jonathan secured 12th place in his division out of a competitive field of 2678 participants in the 2025 Boulderthon.
