Consistent Pacing with Late Stage Challenges Demar demonstrated a consistent pace throughout the marathon, evidenced by his steady split times in the first half. His fastest split came at mile twelve with a commendable pace of 7:11, showcasing his capacity for speed. While Demar's performance was strong overall, there was a noticeable increase in his pace from mile eighteen onwards, eventually reaching a peak of 9:22 at mile twenty-six. This suggests that focusing on endurance training for the latter stages could be beneficial.
