Consistent Pace with Strong Finish at Boulderthon Lucas Polson maintained a consistent pace throughout the Boulderthon Marathon, with most of his splits hovering around the 9:00 min/mile mark. His early miles were strong, clocking an even-paced start of 8:56 min/mile for the first two miles. A notable highlight was mile 5 where Lucas moved up significantly in his division from 86th to 59th place with a faster split time of 8:55 min/mile. In the latter part of the race, Lucas exhibited endurance, maintaining an average pace per mile below 9:10 despite a drop in speed during the final miles, particularly mile 25. Notably, he sped up to 8:35 min/mile on mile 19, improving his placement within his division. Ending with an elapsed time of 3:57:21, Lucas finished in 61st in his age group, showing commendable stamina and competitiveness. Focus could be given to maintaining the faster pace during the final stretch. Excellent effort!
