Sustained Pace with Strong Finish Eli maintained a consistent pacing strategy, completing the marathon with an overall time of 3:58:58 and an average pace of 9:07 min/mile. Starting with a 9:07 min/mile pace in the first mile, Eli progressively adjusted well despite minor fluctuations, indicated by the slightly faster and slower segments across the course. The standout performance was noticed in miles 10 and 15, both showing significant speed increase with split times of 8:37 and 8:35 min/mile, respectively. Maintaining a stable position, Eli finished 94th in the M20-24 division, showing remarkable endurance by maintaining placement despite the competition. Interestingly, a steady drop in placement was recorded from the start to the mid-course but improved considerably in later stages. Eli could analyze fluctuations in split times at miles 14 and 20, to identify potential pacing adjustments to achieve more consistent splits throughout the race.
