Steady Pace and Strategic Finish Lauren maintained a remarkably steady pace throughout the marathon, finishing with an overall time of 4:04:43 and an average pace of 9:20 min/mile. Her performance was consistent across the 26.2-mile course, exhibiting minimal fluctuations in pace with splits ranging from 9:39 to 8:45 min/mile. Notably, she finished strong with her fastest mile at mile 12, clocking in at 8:42 min/mile. Achieving 540th place overall and 119th among women, Lauren showed a commendable pacing strategy, particularly during the latter stages of the race. Her performance in the F20-24 division was solid, placing 29th in a competitive field. Consistent training and experience from the previous year's half marathon seem to have contributed positively.
