Consistent Pace with Noteworthy Improvements Kyle Novak demonstrated a strong performance at the 2025 Boulderthon Marathon with a final time of 3:46:42 and an average pace of 8:39 min/mile. Holding steady early in the race, Kyle began with two 8:25 min/mile splits and impressively maintains a steady pace. Notably, Kyle showed considerable improvement from miles 4 to 6, achieving splits of 2:32 min/mile and 8:23 min/mile, which moved him up in the rankings significantly. Despite facing a slower 25:58 min/mile split at mile 3, Kyle recovered promptly. From mile 7 onward, he consistently ran around 8:20 to 8:23 min/mile, which helped improve his rankings. While there was some slowing near the end, with the pace dipping to 9:33 min/mile at mile 26, Kyle still finished strongly. For future races, Kyle could focus on maintaining his mid-race momentum in the final miles for an even better finish.
