Strong Start with Early Consistency Fading Midway Andrew Spann of Boulder, CO, delivered a noteworthy performance at the 2025 Boulderthon Marathon. Spann maintained a strong and consistent pace for the first five miles, with his split times ranging from 9:21 to 6:09 minutes per mile. Notably, in mile five, he achieved his fastest split time of 6:09, improving his overall position significantly, climbing from 1251st to 596th place. However, challenges emerged midway through the marathon, as split times began to increase past mile 5, reaching a peak of 15:50 minutes per mile by mile eighteen.
