Consistent Improvement in Pace and Placement Liam Gray demonstrated notable progress at the 2025 Boulderthon, shaving approximately six minutes off his previous marathon time from 2024. He completed the race in 4:01:22 with an average pace of 9:12 min/mile. His split times reveal consistent pacing, particularly excelling in the later miles. Remarkably, he recorded one of his fastest miles in the final stretch with an 8:27 min/mile pace at mile 26. Liam's efforts resulted in higher placements compared to the previous year, finishing 53rd in his division and 401st among his gender. Notably, his overall placement improved from 334th in the previous Boulderthon to 508th in this year's larger field of 2678 participants.
