Consistent Start with Opportunities to Maintain Pace Later Robert Baldwin completed the 2025 Boulderthon Marathon with an overall time of 3:46:49, averaging an 8:39 min/mile pace over the 26.2-mile course. Notably, Robert demonstrated a robust start, maintaining sub-9:00 min/mile paces for the first 19 miles. The 5th mile was particularly strong with an 8:04 minute pace, marking his fastest consistent pace segment between miles 5 and 9. In the later stages, from mile 20 onwards, there were increases in split times, reaching up to 10:58 min/mile by mile 26. This slowdown indicates room to work on endurance for future events to maintain the earlier strong pace throughout the entire race. Despite the slowdown, Robert finished 42nd in the M30-34 division, out of a considerable 2678 total participants. Improving the final quarter of the course can elevate overall performance and ranking in future marathons.
