Notably, Sam's consistency in pacing is evident from split times, with the majority hovering around the 9:46 to 10:03 min/mile range. The sixth mile saw a momentary slowdown at a 10:06 min/mile pace, but Sam quickly corrected and maintained a sub-10-minute pace for several subsequent miles. A swift initial pace with the first mile at 10:12 min/mile set a strong tone.
