Consistent Early Pace With Late Challenges Alex Trujillo maintained a steady pace through the first half of the Boulderthon Marathon, displaying remarkable consistency with splits ranging from 9:08 to 9:30 minutes per mile. Both the third mile and the sixteenth mile showed strong performances with paces of 9:03 minutes per mile, which contributed positively to his overall pace. In the latter part of the race, there was a noticeable slowdown, particularly from the 20th to the 26th mile. The final mile saw a significant reduction in pace at 14:01 minutes per mile. This part of the course posed challenges, making the final elapsed pace 10:10 minutes per mile. Despite this, Alex finished with an elapsed time of 4:26:25. For future races, Alex might benefit from focusing on maintaining endurance through the latter stages to sustain the early strong pace. This could further improve overall performance.
