Consistent Effort with Potential for Speed Gains Quentin demonstrated consistent pacing throughout the marathon, with an average pace of 10:01 min/mile, covering a total distance of 26.2 miles. Notably, Quentin's fastest mile was the 5th, where he achieved a split pace of 5:49 min/mile; however, this was an anomaly as the rest were around the average pace. The 4th mile had the slowest split pace at 13:50 min/mile, indicating a potential area for improvement to maintain consistent splits throughout longer sections of the race. Despite varied split times, Quentin maintained a strong overall position. Place improved from 999th at the first mile to 805th by the end of the race. Within his division (M20-24), Quentin climbed from 178th at the first mile to finish in 158th place, showing effective progression during the race.
