Steady Start with Mid-Race Challenges Evan Grossmann began the 2025 Boulderthon Marathon at an impressive pace, averaging around 9:10 min/mile for much of the first half. Starting with a first mile split of 9:22, his pace improved with several splits under 9:00 min/mile, notably a fast mile 12 with a split of 8:26.
