Consistent Start with a Challenging Finish in Boulderthon Julia exhibited consistency throughout much of her race at the 2025 Boulderthon Marathon, maintaining a steady pace especially in the first 10 miles where her pace ranged between 8:35 and 9:08 min/mile. Notably, between miles 5 and 6, she improved her overall position significantly, moving up from 431st to 302nd, and reaching 7th place in her division, which was her best division standing during the race. In the latter half, the pace began to slightly decline, notably in the last few miles where her pace reached 10:09 to 12:12 min/mile. Despite this slowdown, she showcased endurance by maintaining a rank just outside the top 24 in her division of F30-34. Small adjustments in maintaining speed towards the end could enhance the execution of her race strategy. Overall, Julia can build on this performance, with emphasis on endurance, to improve pacing in the later stages of the marathon.
