Strong Start, Challenging Finish Ryan maintained a steady pace initially at the 2025 Boulderthon Marathon, showing impressive consistency across the first half of the race. Starting with a pace of 7:58 min/mile, Ryan gradually picked up the pace, reaching 7:32 min/mile by mile 10. His efforts saw a steady improvement in placements over the early miles, moving up from 219th to as high as 126th place overall by mile 5. In the latter stages, from mile 20 onward, there was a marked deceleration. Splits increased to 10:23 min/mile by mile 21 and peaked at 21:21 min/mile by mile 25. This resulted in an overall finish time of 4:03:25, with an average pace of 9:17 min/mile. Focusing on maintaining pace consistency and endurance in the back half of races could be beneficial in future competitions. Despite the slowdown, competing in such a large field of 2,678 participants is commendable.
