Steady Progress with a Strong Start Solene Brehm participated in the 2025 Boulderthon Marathon, completing the 26.2-mile course with an overall time of 4:12:30 and an average pace of 9:38 min/mile. Over the race's first five miles, she demonstrated solid pacing, gradually improving her placement in the division F20-24 from 46th to 18th, highlighted by a notably swift 8:59 min/mile split at mile 10. Consistency characterized her subsequent miles, maintaining a steady pace with some deceleration as the race progressed. From mile 13 onwards, a more noticeable slowdown occurred, with splits over ten minutes in miles 20 through 25. However, Solene improved her division placement to 34th overall. Comparing this marathon performance with her previous half marathon in 2024, there's an opportunity to focus on endurance training for the latter stages of the race to improve in future marathons. Continued refinement in pacing strategy could further enhance future race outcomes.
