Strong Start, Challenging Finish Grant Kellogg commenced the 2025 Boulderthon Marathon at a swift pace, completing the first mile in 7:30 minutes, ranking 130th overall and 27th in his division. By mile 5, he maintained a steady pace of 7:53 min/mile, displaying consistency with a close division rank of 30. Throughout the midsection of the race up to mile 10, Grant maintained a pace under 8:30 min/mile. These consistent efforts ensured he stayed within the top 200 overall and top 100 in his category for an extended period. In the latter half, from mile 13 onwards, Grant's pace gradually slowed, ranging from 8:36 to 12:27 min/mile by mile 26. Despite the slower finish, he completed the marathon with a total time of 4:14:58, an average pace of 9:43 min/mile. With 685th overall placement out of 2678 participants, focusing on maintaining a consistent pace in future races may help improve his finish times further.
