Steady Start, Inconsistent Mid-Race Performance. Richelle began the race with a consistent pace, averaging approximately 8:30 min/mile over the first three miles. Her fastest mile was at the 5th mile, clocking in at a split time of 5:23, showcasing her capacity for quick bursts of speed. By the 10th mile, her pace averaged around 8:51 min/mile, indicating an initial steady performance. However, a gradual slow-down began after the 10th mile and became more pronounced in the later stages of the race. The 21st mile was particularly slow with a split time of 13:44. Despite finishing with an elapsed time of 4:22:43, which slightly trailed her previous race performance by about 7 minutes, she maintained her top pace at 8:48 min/mile. Focusing on maintaining consistent pacing in the latter half of races could be beneficial. Overall, Richelle exhibited determination, with room to develop a stronger finish.
