Consistent Pacing Leads to Strong Finish Emma Eckley completed the 2025 Boulderthon Marathon with a consistent overall pace of 9:13 min/mile, finishing with a time of 4:01:42. Her performance showed commendable consistency, particularly evident in the closing miles of the race. Emma maintained a steady pace from mile 10 onwards, fluctuating minimally around her average pace. Notably, her fastest mile was mile 19, completed in 8:46 min/mile, which helped her climb from her earlier relative positions. Starting off with a 9:25 min/mile in the first mile, Emma experienced a pace drop during mile 4, clocking in at 13:17, an opportunity to work on maintaining pace despite race dynamics. However, she impressively recovered her speed, managing to finish in the top 20 of her division (F30-34) out of more than 2,678 participants.
