Consistent Start, Solid Finish Hunter Steinau demonstrated impressive pacing during the 2025 Breckenridge Road Marathon, maintaining a consistent pace early in the race. The first two miles were clocked at a steady 5:45 minutes per mile, putting him in second place overall. By the fourth mile, his strategic pace adjustment allowed him to briefly move into first position with a 5:50-minute mile as he led overall. In the later stages, although his pace increased slightly, the times were still commendable for the distance covered. Hunter completed the race in 1:26:56 with an average pace of 6:38 minutes per mile, securing 3rd place overall and 2nd in his gender category. Being consistent in the first half and maintaining efforts till the end showcases endurance. Future focus might be on sustaining early race pacing success into the final miles. Well done in a competitive field of 373 participants.
