Consistent Finish with Strong Division Lead Thomas Henry delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Breckenridge Road Marathon's Half Marathon event. He completed the race in 1:40:13, achieving an overall pace of 7:39 min/mile. Thomas demonstrated robust pacing in the first part of the race, with early splits showing consistent improvement from 6:48 min/mile to a peak pace of 6:36 min/mile by mile 3. Notably, he secured 1st place in the M20-29 age division, emphasizing his competitive edge among peers. Initially positioned 15th overall after the first mile, Thomas managed to drive forward intensely, reaching as high as 7th place overall by mile 5. Though there was a discernible pacing decline in the latter miles, Thomas maintained a commendable finish, ending 16th out of 373 participants. With controlled efforts in the first and last few miles, enhancing endurance capacity for late-race miles might be beneficial for future endeavors.
